About Our Guests

April Baek is a product marketing manager at Certiport, a Pearson VUE Business. She works closely with educators across the country in implementing certification programs, including Adobe Certified Professional, in their curriculum. Prior to this role, she was a teacher at W. A. Pattillo Middle School in North Carolina.

Ellen Su is a doer of many things. Since joining Titmouse at the beginning of 2021, she has become the Head of Artistic Recruiting there. After graduating from a 3D animation program with an internship at Pixar, Ellen quickly realized working as a 3D artist was not for her. That prompted her first career pivot into 2D animation and design, which quickly escalated to directing. She spent 5 years directing 2D and 3D animated projects for clients such as Nickelodeon, NBA, and TED-Ed, before pivoting yet again into recruiting. In her free time, she has been a teacher of award-winning student films at the School of Visual Arts, and a co-lead of the Women in Animation NYC Chapter where she prides herself in hosting career related events that give practical advice. Having seen the industry from many different sides, Ellen has unique insight on what it takes to advance in the industry.
