Recently announced as the SIGGRAPH 2020 virtual keynote speaker, Marco Tempest specializes in developing immersive experiences of future technologies. Taking ideas about advanced technology, and how we might interact with it, and finding innovative ways to bring those concepts alive. For his session, Marco will combine mixed reality, storytelling, gestural sensing, and swarm robotics to give participants a glimpse of a delightful, augmented future … right now.
On selecting Marco as this summer’s keynote speaker, SIGGRAPH 2020 Conference Chair Kristy Pron shared, “In a year during which the COVID-19 pandemic has led to major change across the many industries that make up our SIGGRAPH community, adding illusion to our virtual keynote is an exciting opportunity for the conference.
