Lights, camera, action! Monday, 8 August
00:44:50: Rebecca Strzelec kicks off the conference with the first of four morning previews, featuring what’s to come for the first day of SIGGRAPH 2022. Make sure to check out Rebecca’s daily, morning preview interviews across each day of the live conference week, where she interviewed program chairs to learn more about the outstanding content presented at SIGGRAPH 2022.
4:15:00: Anything can happen! Alex Bryant stops attendees on “street,” or in the Vancouver Convention Centre, for the “SIGGRAPH Says” segment, where they shared key highlights from their SIGGRAPH 2022 experience. Watch and see what lucky participants were in the spotlight on the first day of the conference.
Tuesday, 9 August
4:30:00: Want to learn more about where “emerging” comes from in “Emerging Technologies?” Rebecca heads to the Experience Hall to interact with Emerging Technologies contributors, including an exclusive interview with Emerging Technologies Chair Mk Haley. Learn about the background of the program, key projects featured, and the contributors who make it special and move the industry forward.
8:00:00: “SIGGRAPH Says” strikes again! Alex chats with a “SIGGRAPH newbie” about his first-ever conference experience, where he dives into what he was most excited to see and his favorite session thus far.
Wednesday, 10 August
3:15:00: We’re calling on all of our art enthusiasts for our final tour of the Experience Hall! SIGGRAPH 2022 Art Gallery Chair Daria Tsoupikova joins Rebecca to chat about the goals and themes that resonated with her when curating this year’s installations.
5:00:00 You won’t want to miss Rebecca’s exclusive sit-down interview with SIGGRAPH 2022 Conference Chair Munkhtsetseg Nandigjav. Here, Muunuu reflects on her experience planning this hybrid conference and shares her pride and appreciation for the conference committee. For the first time since 2019, the Exhibition took place in person, and it was an exciting venue across the lower level in the Vancouver Convention Centre. Alex headed down to learn all about the innovation and demos that took place during the live conference week through exclusive interviews with SIGGRAPH’s valued exhibitors.

2:00:00: Are you ready for our final deep-dive Interview of the conference? Rebecca sits down for a moving discussion with longtime SIGGRAPH contributor Aaron Hertzmann to hear all about his life, career, and Frontiers Talk: “Art in the Age of AI: Can Computers Create Art?”
4:00:00: We aren’t ready for it to end! “SIGGRAPH Says” gets real with Real-Time Live! Alex stopped participants as they exited the very energetic, and punny, real-time experience, and they reflected on their favorite demos and the energizing experience of gathering for Real-Time Live! in person for the first time since 2019.
