by | 9 September 2021 | Conferences

We did it! All of the sessions for SIGGRAPH 2021, the 48th annual conference on computer graphics and interactive techniques, have come and gone. Though still available on-demand (register to access), the time has come to look ahead to what’s coming for SIGGRAPH’s 49th year.

The SIGGRAPH community has a unique story and skillset that diversifies, enhances, and transforms our industry. SIGGRAPH 2022 is committed to celebrating these perspectives by supporting diversity and inclusion and elevating all voices through its content and experiences. Both in person in Vancouver and in our virtual venue, the hybrid conference will offer an experience designed with you in mind, where every detail reflects the community’s collective pursuit of excellence.

“In 2019, we announced that SIGGRAPH 2022 was going to be in Vancouver, Canada. That decision is still the same as of today,” shared SIGGRAPH 2022 Conference Chair Munkhtsetseg Nandigjav, of Savannah College of Art and Design, during the SIGGRAPH 2021 Closing Session. “We are, however, navigating through the last two years of learning and developing through the pandemic, and my team and I will be providing an in-person conference with a virtual experience.”

Today, we unveil the SIGGRAPH 2021 website and invite the community to join us on the next journey of the premier conference for computer graphics and interactive techniques. For more from Nandigjav on the upcoming event, click here.
