Markus Gross
Technology to Create the Magic, DisneyResearch | Studios & ETH Zürich
Markus Gross is chief scientist of The Walt Disney Studios and professor of computer science at ETH Zürich. A leading authority in visual computing, computer animation, digital humans, virtual reality, and AI, he leads Disney’s research and innovation efforts in advancing technology for filmmaking. Gross has published over 500 scientific papers, holds over 100 patents, and has received numerous honors, including two Academy Awards and the ACM SIGGRAPH Steven Anson Coons Award.
Ran Huang
Chief Architect of Graphics & Imaging, Huawei Consumer BG, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
Ran Huang is chief architect of graphics & imaging at Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG), leading system-level graphics architecture design for HarmonyOS. With over 17 years of experience in graphics, he previously worked at AMD before joining Huawei in 2016. He pioneered Huawei’s consumer gaming standards, profiling tools, and performance analysis methodologies, and was a core technical contributor to its breakthrough GPU Turbo technology.
Andrea Vedaldi
Professor of Computer Vision and Machine Learning, University of Oxford; Research Scientist and Technical Lead, Meta
Andrea Vedaldi is professor of computer vision and machine learning at the University of Oxford, where he co-leads the Visual Geometry Group, and a technical lead at Meta working on 3D computer vision and generative AI. His contributions span computer vision and machine learning, earning recognition including the Royal Society Faraday Discovery Fellowship, IEEE Thomas Huang Memorial Prize, two CVPR Best Paper Awards, and the ACM Test of Time Award.
