We are thrilled to announce the keynote speakers for SIGGRAPH Asia 2025 — three visionary leaders who are shaping the future of creativity, technology, and innovation. These keynote sessions will inspire new perspectives, spark ideas, and offer unique insights into the evolving world of design, animation, and interactive media.
HARRY SHUM
Council Chairman, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Harry Shum is council chairman at HKUST and former executive vice president of Microsoft Corporation, where he led AI and research until March 2020. He earned his PhD in robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and is a fellow of IEEE and ACM. Harry is also an international member of the National Academy of Engineering and the Royal Academy of Engineering.
JAMIE SHOTTON
Chief Scientist, Wayve
Jamie Shotton leads AI research and development at Wayve, focusing on foundation models for embodied intelligence to enable safe, adaptable autonomous vehicles. Formerly at Microsoft, he pioneered innovations including Kinect body tracking and HoloLens 2’s instinctual interaction model. His work spans AI for driving, mixed reality, robotics, and healthcare, earning honors such as the Royal Academy of Engineering Silver Medal, the MacRobert Award, and recognition as an MIT Innovator Under 35.
DR. CHUNCHAO GUO
Head of Hunyuan 3D Generation and World Modeling, Tencent
Dr. Chunchao Guo is a principal research scientist at Tencent and leader of Hunyuan 3D, pioneering advances in 3D generative large models. He has published 20+ papers, received top awards, and led his team to 20 international competition wins. Dr. Guo spearheaded the creation of one of the first 3D-DiT large models and launched Hunyuan World — the first open-source 3D world model — widely recognized in academia and industry.
