Purpose of the ACM SIGGRAPH Volunteer Development Committee
The newly developed Volunteer Development Committee (VDC) exists to support, cultivate, and sustain ACM SIGGRAPH’s vibrant volunteer community. Its primary purpose is to identify, recruit, and mentor new volunteers while promoting a culture of inclusion and accessibility. The VDC is committed to creating pathways for all members to contribute meaningfully and advance within the organization. It also seeks to recognize and celebrate the achievements of volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and supported in their roles.
