The Emerging Technologies program presents innovative technologies in several fields from displays and input devices to collaborate environments and technologies that will transform the way we live and work. This year’s interactive demonstrations of research come from several fields, including displays, input devices, collaborative environments, and robotics. ART GALLERY
This year’s theme is Hybrid Craft, a showcase of craft techniques and values in contemporary digital design. The gallery emphasizes the importance of craft heritage in contemporary digital design, where beautiful and meaningful artifacts are produced by machine and craftsperson together. Watch the video to see some of the ways advanced technologies are transforming traditional making processes.
